TIBO uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to turn the material you upload into study plans, flashcards, quizzes, and notes. Here's exactly how, and what we do to keep it honest.
Every piece of content TIBO generates is grounded in the material you uploaded for that class — your syllabus, slides, PDFs, or recordings. The AI is instructed to answer only from that material and to cite the page or section it came from. It is not designed to pull from its general training knowledge to fill gaps.
AI-generated content can still be incorrect, incomplete, or miss context — especially with poor-quality scans, unclear audio, or ambiguous slides. TIBO is a study aid, not a substitute for attending class, reading the assigned material, or your professor's own guidance. Always verify anything you're unsure about against your own material or your professor before an exam — you're responsible for your own study decisions and outcomes.
We don't use your uploaded course material to train AI models. Generating your content does send that material to Anthropic's servers in the United States for processing — see our Privacy Policy for the full detail on that transfer and your rights over it.
If TIBO ever generates something that doesn't trace back to your material, report it from the app or email support@clubtibo.it.com — that's the Source-Locked Guarantee.
